Research Use Policy
Effective date: August 24, 2026
This Research Use Policy describes the permitted and prohibited purchase, possession, handling, transfer, and use of products offered by Atlas Precision Peptides (“Atlas”). It forms part of the Atlas Terms and Conditions. By purchasing or receiving an Atlas product, you agree to comply with this policy.
Research Use Only
Atlas products are offered exclusively for lawful in-vitro laboratory, analytical, and research purposes. They are not intended or approved for human or veterinary consumption or for any clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, cosmetic, food, drug, household, agricultural, or other in-vivo application.
Qualified Purchasers
Purchasers must be at least 21 years old and must be appropriately qualified professionals or act under the supervision and responsibility of appropriately qualified personnel. Purchasers must have facilities, equipment, procedures, training, controls, and protective equipment suitable for the materials ordered and the proposed lawful research. An age acknowledgment does not by itself establish scientific qualifications or legal authority.
Purchaser Screening and Order Certification
Atlas requires a cart-stage certification that the purchaser is at least 21 years old, requires a customer account for purchasing, and may collect order-specific purchaser information at checkout, including a predefined lawful research-purpose selection. Purchasers must affirm their qualifications or qualified supervision and certify that the order is exclusively for lawful in-vitro laboratory, analytical, or research use. Atlas may request additional information or hold or refuse an order when screening information is incomplete, inconsistent, or indicates a prohibited or non-research purpose.
Permitted Uses
Permitted use is limited to lawful laboratory activities conducted outside a living person or animal, including analytical method development, reference comparison, laboratory process evaluation, chemical or biochemical characterization, stability observation, and other legitimate in-vitro research performed under appropriate controls. The purchaser must independently determine whether a proposed activity is lawful, scientifically appropriate, and within the purchaser’s qualifications and institutional authority.
Strictly Prohibited Uses
Products must not be ingested, injected, inhaled, implanted, applied to the body, administered, compounded, dispensed, prescribed, or otherwise introduced into any person or animal. Products must not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, prevent, or monitor a disease or health condition; to alter bodily structure, function, performance, appearance, weight, or aging; in food, beverages, supplements, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices, or household products; or in any clinical, veterinary, recreational, personal, or self-experimental application.
You may not relabel, repackage, market, advertise, recommend, demonstrate, or transfer an Atlas product for human or veterinary use or any other prohibited purpose. You may not remove or obscure research-use warnings, make medical or efficacy claims about an Atlas product, or use product documentation to imply regulatory approval, clinical suitability, safety, or effectiveness.
No Approval or Suitability Representation
A product listing, sale, label, analytical report, purity figure, storage statement, or response from customer support is not a representation that a product is approved, sterile, nonpyrogenic, safe, effective, clinically suitable, or fit for a particular experiment. “Research use only” describes the limited purpose for which Atlas offers the product; it does not replace the purchaser’s legal, regulatory, scientific, or safety assessment.
Legal and Institutional Compliance
The purchaser is solely responsible for identifying and complying with all laws, regulations, import and export controls, licensing and permit requirements, institutional rules, funding restrictions, protocols, ethics requirements, biosafety requirements, and waste-disposal standards applicable to the purchaser, location, product, and research. Website availability or successful checkout does not establish that purchase, possession, shipment, or use is lawful in a particular jurisdiction.
Safe Receipt, Storage, and Handling
Products must be received, inspected, secured, labeled, inventoried, stored, handled, and disposed of by qualified personnel using a documented risk assessment and appropriate engineering controls, administrative controls, personal protective equipment, and procedures. Keep products inaccessible to children, unauthorized persons, patients, consumers, and animals. Product-specific documentation should be reviewed before handling; general website information is not a substitute for a laboratory’s own safety program.
Records and Traceability
Purchasers should maintain records appropriate to the research and applicable requirements, including product identity, lot or batch information when provided, date received, storage location and conditions, access, transfers, use, deviations, and disposal. Documentation must remain associated with the correct product and must not be altered or represented as applying to a different product, lot, batch, sample, or method.
Transfer and Resale Restrictions
Do not sell, distribute, give, or otherwise transfer a product to a person or organization unless the transfer is lawful, the recipient is appropriately qualified and equipped, the original labeling and warnings remain intact, and the recipient agrees to restrictions at least as protective as this policy. Transfer is prohibited when you know or reasonably should know that the recipient intends personal, human, veterinary, clinical, or other prohibited use. Atlas may impose product- or order-specific resale or transfer restrictions where permitted by law.
Order Review and Refusal
Atlas may request reasonable information concerning purchaser identity, qualifications, institution, facilities, destination, or intended research use. Atlas may delay, limit, refuse, or cancel an order, suspend an account, or decline future business when information is incomplete or inconsistent or when communications, quantities, destinations, payment activity, or other circumstances reasonably suggest fraud, diversion, prohibited use, unsafe handling, or legal noncompliance.
Product Questions and Adverse Information
Atlas customer support provides order and documentation assistance only and does not provide dosing, administration, reconstitution for administration, clinical, medical, veterinary, or treatment advice. Do not ask Atlas personnel for instructions concerning prohibited use. Promptly contact Atlas regarding a suspected labeling error, container-integrity concern, shipment discrepancy, unauthorized account activity, diversion, or other product or order issue, and preserve the product, packaging, labels, and relevant records while the matter is reviewed.
Consequences of Violation
Violation of this policy may result in order cancellation, account suspension or termination, refusal of future sales, preservation of relevant records, or other reasonable action. Atlas may cooperate with lawful requests from regulators, courts, carriers, payment providers, or law-enforcement authorities and may make reports when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect safety, rights, property, or the integrity of the Services.
Purchaser Responsibility
The purchaser assumes responsibility for lawful acquisition, facilities, personnel, protocols, risk assessment, handling, storage, security, use, transfer, and disposal. Nothing in this policy transfers responsibility that applicable law assigns to Atlas, and nothing limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
Policy Updates and Contact
Atlas may update this policy prospectively. The version in effect when an order was accepted governs that order unless applicable law requires otherwise. Questions about this policy may be submitted through the Contact page or sent to info@atlasprecisionpeptides.com.
